How to get here…

  • SEATAC AIRPORT

    As the largest airport in the region, most flights will route here. You may be able to find a transfer flight into Paine Field in Everett or Bellingham International Airport. However, in our experience we have found it to be most economical to fly into SeaTac, and take the BellAir Shuttle, or rent a car at the airport and drive (about 2 hours north on I-5) to Bellingham. Just beware of rush hour traffic!

  • BELAIR AIRPORTER SHUTTLE

    The BellAir charter buses run several round trips per day between Seattle and Bellingham. We recommend arranging for pickup at SeaTac and drop off at the centrally-located Sheraton Four Points in Bellingham. You can expect this transfer to cost about $100 per passenger, roundtrip. Booking a room at the Sheraton makes this travel option a breeze!

  • FOUNTAIN RENTAL

    Travelling by car is the best way to explore Whatcom county, and the only way to get from Bellingham to the wedding venue in Acme. We recommend Fountain as a great family-owned local business with the most affordable rates on rental vehicles. They are conveniently located near downtown Bellingham, just a short taxi or uber ride away from the shuttle drop off at the Sheraton.

  • While there are many hotels in the area that you may choose from, we recommend staying at the centrally-located Sheraton Four Points in Bellingham. Stay tuned for a promo code to take advantage of wedding rates (discount based on availability at time of booking)

  • If you would like to be closer to the venue, rentals are a great option! Air Bnb and Vrbo rentals provide quiet and quaint accommodations further away from the noise downtown. We have curated a list of stays that are within a 30 minute drive of our venue in Acme.

THE VENUE

Samara Farm (Acme, WA)

 

1949 Valley Highway

We have decided to host our wedding under the canopy of old growth maple trees among fields of summer flowers at Samara Farm. The property is located in the rural South Fork Valley, nestled between Lake Whatcom and the Cascade Mountains, 30 minutes east of Bellingham via Mount Baker Highway.

The venue is best reached by car. We encourage carpooling when possible. Please drive responsibly.
